Getting Started with Databases: SQL / MongoDB / Graph
What is this session about? Databases are everywhere. The number of different types of databases continues to grow. The need for knowledge about how to work with databases is not only limited to developers but as data becomes more and more important, everyone needs to understand these technologies better. This session is a tour of the world of some of the most popular database technologies: SQL, MongoDB/NoSQL and Graph databases. Our tour guides are industry experts and the people working with these technologies daily. Why should you attend? Whether you are a web developer storing user information, data scientist retrieving data to build an AI/ML model or even working on your own hobby applications, you are probably working with a database in some way. This session will help you gain more knowledge on database technologies you might already know and introduce you to new ones that you might want to use in your next project! Who should attend? Developers, Students, Data Scientists and Analysts or anyone working with databases or wants to learn more about them. Speakers Emil Nildersen, Senior Solutions Architect – MongoDB Emil Nildersen is a senior solutions architect at MongoDB, responsible for guiding customers and users to design and build reliable, scalable systems using the MongoDB data platform.
