Microsoft Ignite is just around the corner with a chance to catch some great sessions, connect with Microsoft partners and network with other attendees. In this video, Sam Wronski, a Cloud Advocate at Microsoft, teaches you how to use the Backpack feature of the Microsoft Ignite site to track your sessions, connect with partners and network with other attendees. The backpack is your tool to collect and organize your favorite parts about Microsoft Ignite! You can collect your favorite sessions, speakers, attendees or featured partners throughout the event so you can optimize your schedule or catch up on sessions at a time that's more convenient for you! When deciding what sessions you are interested in during Ignite you can collect them into your Backpack. This gives you a way to store those sessions and plan which events you will attend as part of your schedule. For events you could not attend at the time, the backpack can also keep track of things you were interested in so you can come back and watch them later after Ignite! If there are speakers you really enjoyed watching during Ignite you can add them to your backpack as well. This can be a great way to find more references to other sessions they have run during the event! When you're networking with others at the event you can keep track of them by adding other attendees to your backpack. From there you can find all the information they have chosen to share with others at the event. To allow others to add you to this list you'll need to enable other attendees to find you when registering for Ignite. You can add information like social links and a bio from your Ignite user profile or even enable the sharing of your Ignite schedule so others can see what you're interested in! Finally, you can keep track of Featured Partners with the backpack. You can use this to track partners you'd like to remember or connect with later and can make rediscovering awesome tools from partners a bit easier!
