Leveraging Azure Cosmos DB for End-to-End Monitoring of Retail Processes

Within Retail, an Enterprise Resource Planning system like Dynamics interacts with many other systems such as a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Product Information Management System (PIM). The bottom line is that there’s information going to systems left and right to support their critical processes like logistics, ordering, and billing. The information flows are usually message and batch-oriented. Moreover, those messages and batches must arrive at their destination, and monitoring such is mandatory. In our custom monitoring solution built with Azure Cosmos DB, Log Analytics Workspace, Functions, and Service Bus, we can provide cost-effective end-to-end monitoring for retailers.
