This presentation will introduce the audience to Moving Platform Mode (MPM). This mode allows the HoloLens 2 to function correctly while inside vehicles, particularly vehicles with lower maximum acceleration like ships and oil rigs. We will enumerate best practices in designing a system for use on a moving platform, and methods to maximize performance of the system. Demonstrations of the system in action in a range of different vehicles – eg. Boats, cars, elevators and buses - will help the audience understand if the mode will help in their specific use cases.
