With many years of experience working in the classroom as a former technology and innovation teacher and leader at schools across Sydney, she's created amazing tech projects with thousands of students. Helen also extends that impact through her work as an academic at Swinburn University, where she gives pre-service and early careers teachers the benefits of her years of experience and research. Her latest research project , "Plugged into Unplugged: Teaching Girls to be Leaders and Coders with Technology," earned her the title of 2020 ICTENSW Leader of the Year award. Helen is a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert and Trainer, along with having skills in many other educational technologies.
