Flexible federated identity credentials are an advanced feature of Microsoft Entra Workload ID that enhances the existing federated identity credential model. Flexible federated identity credentials allow the use of a restricted expression language for matching incoming subject claims and enabling the inclusion of custom claims, helping reduce management overhead and address scale limits in workload identity federation.
