What is changing for Azure Stream Analytics Power BI output connector?
Date What happens Beginning October 31st, 2024 New customers will not be able to create new Azure Stream Analytics jobs with Power BI as output connector Beginning Oct 31 31st, 2027 Existing customers will not be able to create new Azure Stream Analytics jobs with Power BI as output connector Beginning Oct 31 31st, 2027 Existing Azure Stream Analytic jobs with Power BI output connector will be stopped Reason for retirement: Power BI has announced retirement of real time streaming. We encourage you to transition to Fabric real time intelligence prior to the retirement date to experience the new capabilities of Fabric Real Time Intelligence including:
- Eventstream
- KQL Database
- DataActivator
- Real Time Dashboards
From now to 10/31/2027 existing customers can continue to use Azure stream analytics PowerBI output connector without disruption. On 10/31/2027 stream analytics jobs running with PowerBI output connector will be stopped. Resources to aid in your migration can be found below.
