Public preview: Operation abort

Published date: September 14, 2022

Operation abort allows operations on the Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) cluster or agent pool to be aborted in the middle of the operation. This will not gracefully end the operation and will stop at whatever step in the operation it has occurred. Once complete, the cluster provisioning state will enter the “canceled” state.

Please note: The cluster health may be affected, it is recommended to use this as a backup for emergency cases, such as stuck operations or long-running operations.
