Public preview: Azure Arc-enabled System Center Virtual Machine Manager

With customers increasing their investments across hybrid and edge environments, consistent management experience is a key requirement for IT administrators. System Center Virtual Machine Manager (VMM), part of the System Center Suite of products has been used for many years to configure, manage, and transform traditional datacenters. Today, we are making Azure Arc-enabled System Center Virtual Machine Manager, a new Azure Arc capability, available in public preview.
This enables on-premises System Center Virtual Machine Manager environments to be connected to Azure, unlocking Azure-based self-service for end users and developers. With this, virtual machines can be created, managed and deleted in System Center Virtual Machine Manager deployments on-premises through the familiar Azure portal or using ARM Templates for a consistent experience.
