Generally available: Indirect enterprise agreement on Azure Cost Management and Billing

Published date: January 24, 2023

Indirect enterprise agreement (EA) customers can now seamlessly manage their billing account directly from Cost Management and Billing on the Azure Portal. All the relevant information about your departments, accounts, and subscriptions is now available at one place. You can also view properties and manage policies related to your indirect EA enrollment.

With the new billing experience, you can perform the following activities on the Azure Portal:

  • Manage indirect enterprise agreement roles
  • Create and manage billing hierarchy (through departments and accounts)
  • Create subscriptions
  • View your monthly Azure usage and charges
  • Generate and manage API access keys

You can learn more about the new billing experience from our public documentation and EA billing administration video series

We encourage you to begin using the Azure Portal for your billing account administration. These features will no longer be available in the EA portal starting 20 February 2023 for indirect enterprise agreement customers on commercial cloud.

This update is applicable for Indirect Enterprise customers only. We’ll introduce this functionality for our Indirect Partners soon.
